Is 4.5.1 more stable than 4.5 on Mac?

Just noticed the download. 4.5 seems super leaky on the mac - things that used to run right now just crash all the time. If I leave it up for more than a couple of hours, it dies with an out of memory error - just in the editor, using the asset store, etc. 4.3 seemed to run fine, 4.5 was a step down in stability. Is 4.5.1 better?

On my Macbook, Unity 4.5 crashes a LOT, though only when trying to open the file browser. So, Save As, or Build, or creating new Animations are the primary culprits. For now, I swapped to doing my dev on my Windows box and using the MAC for deploy testing. ... Seems like our mileage is varying though. /shrug

Case 615924. Anyway, here's what happened when I pressed play this time. Note also the shadow texture on the terrain is obviously incorrect also.

Yes, it is the first thing they do. I wonder if they view the stack trace or look at the logs without it. Unfortunately creating a small project to reproduce an "out of memory" exception doesn't work.

Nonetheless, It happened again on a "smaller" project (only 8GB), so I filed a new bug with the bug reporter, allowing it to zip up and include the entire project this time. Hope it finishes sending it sometime. It's taking forever.

I've let QA know that this new bug is the repro for the older bug.
