IOS - Unity Remote 4 and PC

    Hello,

    I'm having a bit of a problem figuring out if I am configuring things wrong or if the ability to use Unity remote for IOS from PC is just not supported. What is confusing is it doesn't seem to say so anywhere but the option to connect to Any IOS device does exist in the Windows version of Unity in the editor preferences section. Is this an OSX only feature? :confused: Most threads talking about this I could find were from 2-3 years ago so I was hoping for some more recent insight into this. Thanks.

    Well I'll leave this here in case anyone else is searching for the same thing. I just revisited the Remote manual page and saw this line
    iOS: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch (through USB, only on OSX)

    So looks like I just missed it. Will say that having the option on the windows version is extremely confusing.
