[iOS] The Letters Game - A Toddler Game for Learning Letters and Animals

The challenge mode of the gameplay revolves around a search mechanic - "find the letter A" among four large mashable buttons. We used a simple, toddler friendly UI. There are no in-app purchases, ads, or complicated menus.


The reward mode consists of high quality animal photographs rather than the use of illustrations. We feel this is more engaging and makes for a better learning mechanism.


To break up repetition, most letters have 3 animals associated with them and each animal has 3 separate photos where possible. The game features over 70 animals and more than 180 photos.

Currently the app is iPad only but we are working on getting ready for iPhone as well as Kindle and Android.
