We are just finishing up with the launch version of Power Hover, game should be released soon for iOS appstore as a premium title.

How do you handle antialiasing ? Are you using transparent planes to fake dof ?

Thanks, we have normal Unity AA (2x) enabled for highend devices. Press photos are PC captures with full AA.

There's no DOF, we use unity fog to blend the background + few of our own shaders.

Google play is quite different marketplace from iOS, we thought that it would make most sense to try ad based model on the Android.

The game is nice , i want a Steam version now

 

Combined downloads from Android and iOS versions just went past one million! Pretty good for a small team like us.

Congratulations on your success with Power Hover. Any advice to others on how you marketed this game? Was it through posting on boards such as Reddit and forums like Unity? Or contacting youtubers to play the game and sharing on social media like twitter Facebook? Or was there a paid advertising method or sending to review websites. How many organic downloads would you say you got? Apologise for the questions Just would be a nice insight.

The game is now live on iOS, apple TV, android, androidTV, ShieldTV, Amazon fire devices and Amazon Underground. We have done two major content updates and tons of little ones. phew!
