We installed unity 5.1 on a mac to facilitate the build process for iphone & ipads. We used to build on windows and then finish the build on this mac with XCode so it is already set up with all the Apple annoying stuffs.
After installing the unity editor, we realized that it is not possible to build anything for iOS. The screenshot attached shows that there is no iOS thumbnail in the player settings and that it is not possible to start a build or to switch to the iOS platform. Did we miss something?

    We're using:
    Unity 5.1.1f1
    XCode 6.3
    OSX Yosemite Version 10.10.3

We upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.4 and XCode 6.4 but the problem is still here.

Look in the package Contents/PlaybackEngines folder to see if it's actually there.

Some files were missing in the package and I remembered we had two different version of unity installed (4.6 & 5.1). We uninstalled both versions following the instructions on this post http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/uninstall-unity.18762/ and installed the 5.1 again.
It fixed the problem! Thanks a lot for your help :)
