I am opening an old project of Unity and trying to fix an error in the simulations.
First I was able to get the project loaded in to Unity5. The issue I am gettings, Once i am able to build the scene, then if i try to view the scene, The Unity Web Player doesn't load and I get the error message "Invalid Unity Web File (Can't Parse header)".

Prabushan have you tried building an WebPlayer with an empty scene? That would be your first test to rule out any problems with the WebPlayer installation.

If that works, then try exporting just one scene from your project to be run in the WebPlayer and see if that works.

What version of Unity was your project made in, and what version of Unity are you now using?

Thank you Ricardo_Arrango for the reply.

    1. The project was originally created using the unity version 4. I am using the version 5.3.3 to open it. Orignally the project was created by some company in 2014.
    .
    2. I open the old project file using the Unity 5.3.3. First i had some build errors that i fixed and i was able to compile the
    project.
    3. Then i copied the new build scene and replace with the old scene file in my course.

I don't know since Web Player is being stoped in some browsers, if that is causing the problem.
I will try your suggestions and will let you know.

    Thank You

It is correct that the WebPlayer now doesn't work in Chrome and you need to enable it on other browsers. Because of that we are not investing any more in the WebPlayer and are focusing on WebGL. You can read more about this here:

I'd recommend that you try once you get it working, try switching your project to WebGL.
