Question Invalid Layer Index '1' with NO other info

    Invalid Layer Index '1'
    (Filename: Line: 915)

    That's all I get for countless error spam:

    Line 915 of what file? There's so little info - how can I possibly find this err? O__O

    @karl_jones

    I know this is a old post, but I'm running into the same issue. I'm getting a warning/error about having an invalid layer index, but there's nothing in the logs to tell me where in my code I'm setting a wrong layer? The log just tells me what line in the Unity assembly is posting the error to the log, not where the error is coming from.

    You could try changing the Stack track logging to show unmanaged code: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/Console.html
