Bug Invalid error

    Since a version of 2021.3 before 2021.3.9 that I don't remember at this moment (I have written a not somewhere), I get this error that is completely invalid:

    DrawMeshInstanced does not support the shader 'Universal Render Pipeline/Lit' because it does not read any instanced properties. Try switching to DrawMeshInstancedProcedural if the shader is doing procedural instancing.

    in fact, everything works as it should. I suspect Unity is expecting the shader to use cbuffers or something, while it can just work with structured buffers as well.

    For this specific shader I am not even sure what it is complaining about

    I suggest making a bug report for now untill someone can help better

    @rseinspruch it landed in all streams, you just need to update to a newer version.
