When I try to check in all of my current changes, I get the error "Invalid credentials, username or password are not valid.". It has something to do with several of my newly created scriptable objects that UnityVC did not automatically added to version control and decided to keep them "Private" instead.

As you can see in the screenshots, some random files are marked as "Private", while others are "Added". When trying to manually check out (or add to version control) all of those files, I also get the error. When I check out just one or two files, it sometimes works. When I do this too often in a certain amount of time, I also get the error. So since my current pending changes involve over one thousand new files, I can't use this workaround.

I really don't know what I should do now. I already tried to delete the client.conf and logged in new, since I saw that answer somewhere else. I updated Unity Version Control and also the PlasticSCM client to the newest version. (The problem in the Plastic Client is the same btw.)

When looking in PlasticSCM Client at those problematic files, they all have in common that their type is recognized as binary, while the files, that are properly checked out are marked as txt.

    Hi @AlexElsaesser,

"Invalid credentials, username or password are not valid." is usually an authentication issue.

Please close unity editors and sign out from the Plastic SCM application and try to sign in again by clicking the home icon on the top left, the account in the drop-down, the three dots, and click "Remove account".

Thank you for your answer @rednbrick. After just signing out and in again the problem still persisted. However, I finally solved it by deleting the whole AppData\Local\plastic4 folder and then signing in again.
