Herb Earth is our bachelor project at the Zurich University of the Arts - work is still going on, the prototype will be finished and shown publicly in 5 weeks. The project started ca. 4 months ago and we both would love to find some kind of funding in order to be able finish and release the game ;)

The game features full day / night cycle, 10 different weather conditions, custom terrain / vegetation systems, handpainted textures, a full fledged level editor including a cutscene editor and a lot of custom effects. It's an adventure / exploration game set in a fantasy world full of plants and mysterious creatures.

Hope you like the screenshots :)

I think it would be significantly improved by removing the depth of field effect, but other than that it looks very good.

    I think this looks wonderful!

I can see Eric's point of view for the DOF, but I actually quite like it. Maybe slightly toned down.

    Great Stuff,
    Matt.

Thanks for the feedback! Indeed the DOF is a bit exaggerated right now - had some trouble with adjusting the editor camera, but that will be fixed soon..

yeah I love the DOF look and it does have that tilt-shift look, though it may be great for still imaging, but I wonder if gameplay will be affected by it. Hopefully not.
