I was wondering if there was any possibility for a high school student to get an internship at unity. I have tried contacting the unity reps, but to no avail. Could a forum administrator point me in the right direction? Thanks.
advise: do not nag on forums, about job positions etc.. it's gives a bad impression. There is a section on the website, devoted to jobs, etc.. use that.. http://unity3d.com/company/jobs/ Good luck Ps.. if they don't respond, it's most likely there is a reason for it. (resume selection process can take a while e.g.) Don't push them, with questions about why they don't respond back etc. They will eventually reply with either a rejection note, or an invitation.
While it is true that we've had a high school student as an intern before (Forest Johnson, who was 15 at the time) it was a pretty exceptional case as Forest is wildly talented (for any age). Feel free to submit an application, as anything's possible, but don't be too disappointed if it is rejected.
From my experience, I'd suggest (since you are after an internship and not work experience) submitting a well structured CV as well as a succinct paragraph about why you want to have an internship at UT, etc. I have to say, I'd like to, but I'm at the work experience stage and am amazed at how people like Forest got so good so young :/ To be honest, I think I have more of a chance in embedded systems. Oh well...
