Hello, I just creating a new project and I did not add anything. It was a brand new project, when I went to the console, however, it said I had the following error.
Internal build system error. Backend exited with code -1073741819.
Does anyone know why this happened?

Yeah that doesn't look good. When did this start happening? I might suggest to install another version of Unity, either just above or below the version you are using. Not ideal, but may get you unblocked.

Okay, this started happening ever since I opened the project. Thank you! Do you know why it happened, though?

No I do not, sorry. If you can provide exact steps to reproduce, then perhaps. From your other post, you mentioned your system crashed and you may have lost some files. Perhaps something got corrupted.

Did the new version work? Best to wait to reply until you have additional information to share.

Instead of downloading a new version, I just created another project, and that error was not there anymore.

I had assumed you had already tried that, you originally said "just creating a new project". What did you do differently this time?

I saw that error, and based on that, I created a new project. But we still don't know why that error occurred?

I now have the exact same error: (Unity 2022.1.18f)
    Code (CSharp):
    1. Internal build system error. Backend exited with code -1073741819.
    2. STDOUT:
    3. [  0/436    0s] WriteText Library/Bee/artifacts/1900b0aEDbg.dag/UnityEngine.TestRunner.rsp
    4. [  1/436    0s] WriteText Library/Bee/artifacts/1900b0aEDbg.dag/UnityEngine.UI.rsp
    5. [  2/436    0s] WriteText Library/Bee/artifacts/1900b0aEDbg.dag/UnityEditor.TestRunner.rsp
    6. STDERR:
    7. tundra: error: Unable to create timestamp file '(null)'
    8. errno: 13 (Permission denied) GetLastError: 32 (0x00000020): Der Prozess kann nicht auf die Datei zugreifen, da sie von einem anderen Prozess verwendet wird.
Before there were reference errors of Unity internal packages. I thought there might be some errors on the cache, so I deleted the cache (C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Unity) and let it rebuild (package manager took some time). Those reference errors were then resolved.

Now, as mentioned above I have this library writing error. Also can't ignore/delete. Seems persistent. It seems the current user is not allowed to write to library files. Not sure what other process blocking this.

In my case I get always the same error. First the many reference errors, then the permission denied error. No matter how many new projects I create.
Anyone got a solution for this?

Try reinstalling Unity. Maybe that'll help.
