Another in the increasingly long line of interactive cloth questions.

Our scene has many boats rowing past the camera. Some of the boats have flags. If the boats happen to start off camera and row past, their flag pole won't have a flag on it.

If the flag starts on camera it shows up just fine.

I've tried turning on and off the pauseWhenNotVisible.

i think it's the same problem this user was having:

Anyway way to automatically fix this would be great!

    thanks,

Hey, i've been pounding my head against this all day -

    I've tried:

Making a separate camera that i know sees the flags and calling Render() on it. doesn't work..

I've tried starting them on screen and moving them off screen, but when they come back on again they are gone.

I've tried to set the renderer bounds huge and put the "center" near the camera.

The only reliable way is to spin the main camera to look at where they came from, then look back and they show up. but this obviously isn't acceptable.

    Any help would be great!
