Instances not taking baked light maps

    Hey all, I feel like I recall this being doable in previous versions of unity but It appears that any light map I bake will not become part of an instance when I bring that instance out. Is there any way to solve this issue without using code? I'm not very adept at that side of this. Thank you for your time.

    apologies I said instance when I meant prefab. When I make a room and generate the lightmaps then make that room into a prefab and then pull that prefab into the scene or call it with the code for my map builder it no longer has the lightmaps applied to it.

    As someone who doesn't know coding, that tutorial doesn't really help me unfortunately. I haven't been able to find a solution that works for me yet. I'm trying to get a script to work for it but as of yet haven't been successful.
