Instanced indirect meshes cast but do not receive shadows

    I am using vegetation studio pro and 2019.3 to spawn a bunch of trees and grass meshes via instance indirect method. The meshes cast shadows but do not receive shadows.

    I have checked that the issue is not in the material by checking non-instanced prefabs in the scene. Everything looks normal there.

    Another weird thing, in scene view shadows are received. But in play mode, none of the instanced objects receive shadows.

    Any clue where to look?
