Hi, I upgraded to Win 7, and when I run the Unity installer package, it says that it needs to be run by an Administrator, however, I am the admin. Why is this and how can I run it? :x :?

Right click on the installer file and use 'Run As' adminsitrator.

Hmm, seems to be fixed by running it XP mode.. anyone else have this problem? I know it should work, I put it on my moms computer which is running Home Premium..

Whats with different versions anyways? Why not have one version with everything you need, like Mac OS X??

    Whatever.

AbsoluteBreeze is right - you should go with run as admin.
Win7 UAC is slightly... confusing ;-)
so basically when you see that you need to be admin you can think of "run as admin" as the way to tell "yes, damn machine, i really am" 8).
When you run in xp mode - you get UAC kinda out of the way.

Well, I disabled UAC... Maybe thats why? Some other programs seem to be doing the same thing...
