MARS comes with sample content that you can optionally install. To do so, go to Window > Package Manager and search for the MARS package. Then you can import the samples by pressing the Import into project button.

Also, to quickly get you started with your own project, you can take a look into our MARS Templates blogpost:
    https://blogs.unity3d.com/2020/07/02/exploring-the-unity-mars-starter-templates/

NOTE: If you plan to build the examples make sure you have installed ARFoundation and ARKit/ARCore depending on the platform you are building for.

I tried running one of the examples on my iPhone XS, latest iOS and Xcode version. It just gave me a black screen. No errors or anything.. Any ideas why? I also tried a very simple example with one Proxy and it also gave me a black screen.

    Hello @dimitroff,

Thatt happens because you need to install ARFoundation and ARKit ( https://docs.unity3d.com/Packages/com.unity.mars@1.0/manual/FAQ.html ) make sure that you have the same version of ARKit and ARfoundation else you will get lots of compiler errors

Do I need Unity 2020 beta? In 2019.x, MARS does not appear in Package Manager after selecting "All Packages" and "Advanced" in selection drop-downs.

Excellent, so when you registered for MARS you should have got an email with a link to a MARS installer, did you try loading that MARS installer?

Just got an email from Unity with link to download installer. I guess the MARS package does not automatically appear in packages.

@biotsangcom Unity MARS is a package you install on top of Unity. You should have got an email with a link to an unitypackage installer. To use mars just open an empty project and import the mars installer package and you should be good to go.

Hi! I registered, but unfortunately missed the webinar "Getting started with Unity MARS". Do you know if a recording will become available?

No results for "MARS" in the package manager after subscribing to this. I'm going to be super pissed if I get charged $50 for this thing they wont even let me use.

Only got a link in an email to this thread with a link saying "Follow these instructions to install" doesn't work says "No results for MARS" in the package manager. Now I can't even sort out how to opt out of buying this thing every month?

    hello @frankrs,

MARS needs an installer that you get through a link on your email upon registering. It will not show by default in the package manager.

Being said that. In your link you will get a Unity Package. Just create an empty new project and double click on the package and that will install MARS; make sure you are on Unity 2019.3.0f6 at the minimum

If you would like ot opt out just go into your Unity Account and If I recall well, under licenses you should see your MARS seat and should be able to opt out.
