    Hi,

Just tried running that latest installer (https://beta.unity3d.com/download/3709a3f954c1/UnitySetup-2018.1.2f1), and I can see a whole lot of 404 failed download in the terminal while it's running.

Here is just a few, but there is more :

    Error 404 getting 'https://netstorage.unity3d.com/unity/3709a3f954c1/unity-2018.1.2f1-linux.ini'
    Download of 'https://netstorage.unity3d.com/unity/3709a3f954c1/unity-2018.1.2f1-linux.ini' failed
    Error 404 getting 'https://download.unity3d.com/download_unity/3709a3f954c1/unity-2018.1.2f1-linux.ini'
    Download of 'https://download.unity3d.com/download_unity/3709a3f954c1/unity-2018.1.2f1-linux.ini' failed

If I ignore it and just proceed with the installation, a lot more 404 appear and after a couple of minute the installer says it successfully installed Unity, but it hasn't the folder is empty.

Okay figured it out, the 404 have nothing to do with the problem.
Looks like if the installer loses focus at any point during the installation, it skips to the end without doing anything. That's a really strange bug, never seen that.

So if anyone else has that problem, just start the installer and go do something else, if you don't touch it until the ends it should finish properly

[EDIT] Installer works for me by changing the download folder to (for example) "~/Downloads" instead of using the default tmp-folder.

Exactly the same happens to me with Unity 2018.1.3f1
Installer tells me it has finished, but as Ulrar wrote the Unity folder is empty...
