Input axis not set up

Hello, new to editing in unity and I have been following the tutorials and I'm currently stuck on the roll the ball tutorial where I am trying to get the ball to roll and move. I've typed the coding in correctly but Unity is saying that I do not have the input horizontal axis set up and Im trying to follow the steps of the console, but get lost once I try to set it up in the input manager. Any help would be fantastic.

 

That's not a very specific question. You know you need to go to the Input Manager and set up the axis. But you say you're getting lost... how exactly? What exactly are you trying to do, and what happens differently from what you expect?

 

I appreciate the reply but I ended up figuring out the problem, had to really look at the coding and found my error somewhere.

 

Could you perhaps tell us what your error was? Not that @JoeStrout or I need to know, but other beginners might find this thread and appreciate the information.
