Bug Input Action Editor Window not showing up..

    I am unable to launch Editor window for Input Actions file. I have tried double clicking on the Input Action file itself as well as clicking on "Edit asset" and "Open" buttons inside the Inspector (after selecting the Input Action file in the assets pane) all of which are not working for me.

    Unity Version(s) tried:
    2020.3.27f1 - window does not show up.
    2020.3.28f1 - window does not show up.

    both versions mentioned above gave me the same issue.


    PC Specs:
    Windows 10 Home
    Version: 21H2
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900k CPU @ 3.6GHz
    Ram : 32.0GB

    If anyone has any idea how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

    Does this issue have a solution? I can't seem to find one and I have run into this issue running Unity version: 2022.3.9f1 and Input System Version: 1.7.0.
