Hello, I made an animation in 3Ds max and exported it in unity (2018) as .FBX, with the Animation and Bake animation options ticked. But when I open it in unity the animation doesn't play. However in the " Animation " window my keyframes are still there and I can see, but not edit them. What can I do to fix this and why is it happening ?
I've imported animations before and didn't have this problem. so why have it now ?

What rig type are you using, generic or humanoid? Set to generic to see if the animation plays. If yes - the rig does not conform to humanoid rig hierarchy. Numerous reasons why this could be the case. You will have to figure out why the rig does not work for humanoid.
