InfinityPBR.com Characters & Assets - News, Updates, Support & More

    I'll be updating this over the next few days. But I wanted to have a single forum thread for important updates, news & support about my models. I realize that each one by itself gets some traffic, but potentially questions that affect one, really affect them all. The most recent updates will be at the top. At the very top will be the most important information.

    Known Bugs & Other Issues
    • Currently the "Export Material" and "Mass Export" scripts do not work properly in 5.4. For some reason, the text " (Clone)" is appended to the materials, and subsequent exports add another " (Clone)", so after just a few exports, you'll find many " (Clone)"s copied to the end of the file name.

    The Fix: I've been told at the Allegorithmic forums (they make the Substance Designer/Painter applications, and work on the Unity implementation) that there will be a fix to this, that " (Clone)" should not be added to the end. They've given me a temporary work around that keeps the repetition issue from happening, so I will try to implement it and see what happens.

    For now, I'd ask you to continue to use 5.3.4 (or above, but not 5.4.x) to create textures. As always, I suggest you do this in a new project, so hopefully that won't affect your work flow much at all.

    • July 30th: I created a Patreon page (http://www.Patreon.com/infinitypbr). If you like the work I produce, you can get all new models for just $25 each if you sign up. You won't be charged until a model is ready for download, and all updates will of course be included. Bonus #1: You'll get the download before anyone else, since you'll get it from my site, and I don't have to wait for Asset Store approval. Bonus #2: You'll get to vote on which character I have produced next, and have the ability to add new characters to the list.
    • July 27th: Mummy & Sarcophagus Pack PBR has been updated. The Mummy is now fully rigged (humanoid), and animated. It also comes with Blend Shapes for mesh morphing both in the editor and during runtime.

    Incredibly nice packs. The mushrooms pack is going to be used for both creatures and props in a few of my biomes...

    Do you have information on what packs are upcoming? I'm very interested in a Skeleton pack with various types of skeletons.
