    First of all I love your products.
    If I import the Half Orc and Elf pack into an empty project, make a character the way I need, make a prefab and then export with dependencies my prefab is has no character in it. What are the steps to export prefabs so I can import into another project?

    Someone posted a 1* review on the Armor pack. Super unfortunate. The result is the package is now a 4* pack, not a 5* pack, and it seems that they didn't take the time to participate in actually contacting me about their concerns. The package will likely get more eyeballs next week (can't tell you why.....but...check out the asset store on the 11th!), and not being 5* is a problem. Also, the Armor Pack 2 is about to be released, likely today / tonight.

    What's crazy is the upgrade the user is looking for, with rigs, should be ready early next week, at the soonest...a bit later if anything needs to be fixed.

    A request for you: If you have purchased the Armor Pack 1, please take a moment and provide an honest, 5* review. Right now I'm at 33 stars / 8 reviews, 4.125 average. I need to get, unfortunately FOUR more 5* reviews to get to a 4.5 average.

    Maybe this user will change their rating, but that's not common - -more likely, they'll never see my reply, the store wont' agree to remove the review even though I don't think it's actually a review of the product. It takes seven 5* reviews to counteract a single 1* review. I need four of them to get back to a 5* average.

    If you're able to help, I would be very grateful.

    I sent them a message about that one reviewer and it is not fair to you to have that happen. I have all of your assets and there some of the best quality on the asset store. Most won't include animations, different skins, music, and all the details you do.

    Wrote a 5Star to help negate that one. A few things I noticed: The Cobra and Golem bonus files are not counting as free if you own the asset. Also, do you have any more vouchers for the Moster Creature 2 if purchased on your website? Thanks!

    @infinitypbr Do you have any more vouchers for armor 1 if you purchased on your website? Would love to write a nice review. I purchased Armor 2 on the store and i am in the process of bringing them both into Character Creator 3 so I can rig them for all of my characters.

    @infinitypbr ,

    Hi there. Looking at RPG Character Complete Bundle - 10 Pack Bundle as it is now in sale.

    In terms of resources in scene, demands from models and speed, I can see (albeit just from some YouTube) that the clothing customisation scripts seem to be taking the switch-most-off-but-some-on prefab children route.

    I have previously steered towards the instantiate and then swap in and out just the skinned meshes under the main model that I need (you still need to deal with layers and one item of clothing or the body not poking through another). I'd been using Ooti's Mount Points a lot for that.

    I am just wondering if the above bundle (and assets within) already support this - whether you have sample scripts doing this route as well for character customisation in runtime) or whether it is all based on the include all clothing combinations and switch on and off?

    I'd be very interested for your thoughts on that, if you could expand on that?

    Looking through the rpg bundle pack that is now on sale, but I would like to know what this part in The description of the asset means:

    * Armor Pack 1 & 2 are "Props Only" until a future update, which will allow it to work with the humans, elves, and half-orcs, including rigging, animations, and mesh morphing.

    Armor pack 1 is nearly not "props only", as it works with the Humans & Elves, and will work with the Half-Orcs likely later this week. See this video:



    Armor 2 will eventually work with the Humans, Elves, and Half-Orcs, but they are not yet rigged, animated, and haven't had the mesh morphing added yet. For now, that should be considered "props only" until we get it rigged. The process of that should start after the Armor 1 is complete.

    @infinitypbr Are you doing everything low poly, such as the humans/elves/orcs, or just the 'creatures' at the moment?

    Humans will be more difficult, but I would like to try. Though, Synty has their humans already, so I'm not sure if I'd be reinventing the wheel a bit? It would be more expensive to convert those, and if people aren't interested in mine over theirs, it may not sell at all. What are your thoughts?

    Originally I just had like 2 sentences but then I went into a full on essay. tl;dr While I do think there's a spot for detailed low poly humanoids, it's probably a safer bet to stick to the unfilled niches like the monsters until they get to a "solid" point.

    It is a difficult thought. I know I'm not alone in not being a fan of their human designs, but at the same time, I think a fair amount of people will just use it "because it's there" already and not need a separate purchase. However, whenever someone asks about animals in their discord they get recommended to Maliber's because it's already covered and they don't do animations. So people filling a 'niche' in the product line can work at least on the surface. Personally, I do not like their humanoid style at all, and based on some requests in the discords for various tweaks, others don't either, but since it's already been established it's probably not going to change.

    Additionally, as far as I know, they only have one pack with customization and that's really just different armor / hair pieces and changing a color atlas through the shader. Granted, everything can be boiled down that small, but what I mean is that it's that single pack, and given they are spreading across multiple genres and themes, it's not likely to see an update with 'new stuff' anytime soon. You bring the mesh morphing to low poly (which is unique across low poly offerings here from what I've seen), and the armor going across character races is also a bonus. Again, as far as I know, their customization only works with that pack. They share the same skeleton, so you can theoretically put them together yourself in Blender, but that doesn't seem to be something a lot of people want to do. They'd rather it just work.

    Then, there's also PolyTope. They do a more detailed look, and have their own set of humans as well, but I'm not sure if they have reached the "worth it" stage financially. I much prefer their humanoid designs, but the options are lacking and again, they are limited like Synty to the pack they come with and the armor contained. One off character designs are more likely, but are not tweakable without doing it yourself in Blender.

    Thanks! It sounds like if I do convert the humans, I should attempt to do a "similar yet different" style . Similar aesthetic, different design.

    Is working now for me -- however, it's slow as I'm still waiting on a more optimized home page for the new server. New server is slower (but also 95% less expensive!).

    Trying with a different browser doesn't work either. Trying it with my phone, connected to the phone network rather than my wi-fi router, does work, but it's slow to download stuff from the site and then connect the phone to my computer to copy the files to there. So the site is working, but not everything can connect to it.

    Here's some diagnostic info. If you give this to some technical folks at your host (Dreamhost, I assume,) they might be able to track down what's going wrong.

    Apparently there's a new site up now, but it doesn't have the extended downloads which are what I need. Those are now at legacy.infinitypbr.com, which appears to be the old site on the old host, with the same old connection problems. (It looks like a host issue; I've since found another site I can't connect to that tracert also traces as far as a sd.dreamhost.com subdomain before being unable to proceed further.)

    Do you have any idea when more vouchers will become available on your website? I claimed 18 already but have 28 left to claim. Do they become available monthly or is it a yearly thing? I would like to transfer everything over to the asset store at some point.

    It's a yearly thing. I need to start putting in the "bonus" pack vouchers, though -- side benefit of those are 12 more vouchers per pack. Downside is you still need to "buy" the main pack, but it will be free once the bonus pack is obtained via the voucher.

    I plan on updating those tomorrow night actually.

    The armor in Armor Pack 1 is said to be rigged for use with human characters. I multiselected the entire set from
    Assets\InfinityPBR\_InfinityPBR Weapons & Armor\Armor Sets\Human Male - Armor2
    , and dragged them onto a stock male prefab from the InfinityPBR human character pack. Everything automagically appeared in the right position on the male character's body, and it kinda-sorta moved with him, but there was some very noticeable z-fighting going on that doesn't happen on the armor that comes with the human character pack's premade wardrobe.

    I checked the way the files were set up and saw that they had references to their own bones supplied by their own FBXs. Thinking that this might be part of the problem, I used a bone replacer script to replace the bones on the Skinned Mesh Renderers with the bones of the same name on the human character. There was no visible difference; the z-fighting persisted.

    What's the correct way to put these rigged armor pieces on a human model so they'll animate smoothly?

    How does it work if you buy the assets from Humble, do you download from them, your site or the asset store? Do you also get the bonus files? Still not sure what some of the bonus files are.

    You get a voucher code from Humble that lets you download from the Asset Store. Once you have the asset, (through the voucher,) you automatically get access to the bonus files as a free add-on.

    Man thats amazing. Just one question on the rigs. Are all humanoid creatures (Trolls, Devils...) support Unity's humanoid rig? So we can mix and match your animations with other animation libraries?

    Most of them do. The Imp, which is mostly humanoid, uses the same custom rig as the Gargoyle. (Interestingly enough, the Gargoyle has flying animations set up but the Imp doesn't, so if you want flying imps you need to copy them from the Gargoyle.)

    Not all are humanoid rigs -- devils/demons both have hooves for instance. However, the "human-like" things all *can* be humanoid rig with various levels of work, and various levels of "oh that doesn't look quite right", if that makes sense.

    Steps to reproduce in Unity 2019.4.1f1:
    1. Import Human
    2. Import Weapons & Armor
    3. Duplicate Human Male (v4) to Human Male New
    4. Open Prefab of Human Male New
    5. Drag Human Male - Armor 1 just before Magic Vampiric Curse
    6. Unpack Male - Armor 1 Prefab Completely
    7. Per tutorial, promote all children of Male - Armor 1 up
    8. Run Character Equip
    Let me know if I can provide any additional information to assist.
