I am making an island, so I need water. What is the best way to achive an infinite look to said water. Just add the default water and make it really really big?

As a sidenote, how do I make the water look "larger"? Whenever I use it it seems like the ripples are very tiny.

    Thanks so much.

I don't know if this helpes, but I achieved an infinate plane effect in another engine... Get a really big piece of water. If you have a full skybox with hazy sky colors along the bottom, you can make an alpha channel for the water surface so its like a blurred circle from the top, transparent around the edges. As dumb as it sounds, it creates an effect that looks like the water//ground goes far off into the distance, eventually being obscured by haze slightly on the horizion... I'm not sure its the best way to do it, but I swear it works.

You could just use a sky box that inclueds a watter plain on the bottom, asuming that you don't actualy need to go into the watter. I also can't seem to get the watter asset looking good. Jeff

I wonder how it was done in the first level of Gooball? That looked infinite enough.

Exactly, the keyword being "infinite enough"... if you need to move, move the plane along (like the overhead water in the Underwater levels).
