We've been seeing a random build error for a few weeks now, we hoped that upgrading our project to 2018.3.6 would fix it, but it has not. It tends to happen most often in our IOS builds, but we've definitely seen it in other builds. It seems random when it occurs and when it does not. Cleaning does not eradicate the issue. I wasn't able to find anything about this, so I wanted to make sure it was on your radar.

From the full log, here is the error. (this is just an excerpt, it continues like this for a bit, but it's all the same style of thing)

We recently upgraded our Incremental Compiler package from 0.0.42-preview.29 to .30 (along with our Unity version from 2018.2 to 2018.3) and started having this issue. Builds will fail with the above errors, and then succeed the very next build. Hopefully that helps narrow this one down a bit!

Please note that the Incremental Compiler has been depreciated, all benefits of using this package are now obsolete as of 2018.3.

If you are still seeing errors such as this without using the depreciated package, and are happy for us to do a deeper investigation of your Project, please log a support ticket via the Cloud Build section of the Developer Dashboard and we will be happy to assist.
