Increasing the bandwith of Unity to ML-agent communication

    Hello,

    I am working on a project using ml-agent (2.0.0), and having trouble with the speed of data throughput...

    Right now I have four camera sensors in my Unity environment, and each of the camera's texture size is 1024x1024. Because of the size of the data I am trying to transmit to ml-agent server, it slows down the Unity's rendering speed a lot.

    Is there any way to increase the bandwidth of transmission, so I that I can increase the rendering speed while sending the large data to ml-agent? Thanks in advance!

    The best thing I can tell is to use compressed observations with your camera sensors.
    Also since your observation size is pretty large so it's possible that the slow down also comes from encoding large input/running the neural network/etc.
