Increase Unity Editor Resource Utilization

    Hi guys!

    So my Editor is quite slow when compiling, importing packages, creating assets, and entering/exiting Play mode to name the real offenders. Dreadfully slow! I noticed in Task Manager that Unity Rarely goes above 10% CPU Utilization and 10% Memory Utilization.

    What's going on here? I've tried about everything I can think of, setting the tasks to Realtime, making sure all cores are allocated, etc etc.

    And my PC has no bottlenecks to speak of!

    i7-5820k @ 4.3Ghz, 32Gb DDR4 RAM at 2400Mhz, M.2 SSD, Titan X for the pertinent details.


    I really hope someone has a solution, even if it's along the lines of an editor script I can run on load. I'm pretty much open to ANY ideas at this point, this has been going on for far too long and I've had enough!
