Include custom shaders with assetbundles?

    I have several assetbundles that I have added custom shaders to.

    But when I build the assetbundles and load them in my game the models are pink - so the shaders are missing.

    I thought I had read somewhere that Unity can pack shaders directly into the assetbundles, but I have not found a way to do this.

    Am I mistaken? Is it possible for a Unity game to load custom shaders from asset bundles at runtime?

    This is very urgent and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Also looking for this, it worked fine in 5.6 .
