    Hi!

I want to present you the asset I'm working on and using in my own projects: In-Game Console
    (tested with Unity 2021.3.18f1)
This is a simple in-game console that can be used to call commands at runtime (by typing them or with keyboard shortcuts).
The main goal is to provide an interactive console for the players.

This is a work-in-progress and a lot still needs a lot to be done, but it's quite usable for now.
It requires TextMeshPro (is it really necessary?)

I have added a simple demo where you can interact with the console at runtime via the console directly or via scripts.

It's easily customizable and most of the methods are virtual.

    Features:
    • Easy drag'n'drop console
    • Custom commands
    • Custom shortcuts
    • Easily customizable
    • Can persist between scenes
My plan is to add it to the store when it will be mature enough, but I want to try to keep an accessible price (what would be a decent price?)
For now, I will update it here regularly.

I hope you'll find it useful and if you encounter bugs and/or would like new features, drop a message on the thread.
    Thanks and have fun!

None of the existing in-game console assets caught your fancy? Some of them are free and I've seen some on github, too. Check their features and prices but don't make the mistake of competing for price, that's not going to help. If they all ask for $10 you could ask for $20 actually if you have one or two outstanding features they don't have.

    Actually not really..
There's Quantum Console, but I was more aiming for a light version of this particular one!
Yes, you're right, no outstanding feature for now. I'll just keep on updating it, as I use it, and keeping it free, and see where it leads!
