in 3d editor, scene, how do i move in the y axis

i have a cube in the scene part of the 3d editor, and its really low, i tried to move the view so its flat in the middle of my screen without double clicking the cube in the hierarchy but to do this i need to move the view in the y axis and i down know the button for that.

please help me, thank you!

 

Unclear as to whether you're trying to move the object or the view of the object.

For the former, Google 'unity editor move in scene'. For the latter, Google 'unity editor move object'

You can press the "hand" button (or the "q" key) and then drag the mouse to pan. Alternatively you can hold the right mouse button to enter "fly-through" mode and use WASD and the mouse to navigate.

 

Also you can just click the object and press F.
