Importing Skinned Mesh without Skeleton

    Hey Guys,

    Is it possible to import a model into Unity without a skeleton?

    The reason I ask, is I have created an alternative character model that works with one of Unity's demo projects. I'm not allowed to actually include any Unity content in my package.

    My initial thought was that I could remove the actual skeleton from the FBX but keep the references.

    Has anybody ever done this? Will it work? Are there other workarounds?
