I created a simple primitive shape in blender, imported as fbx, then from Unity > Import new asset, it gets imported as a parent object where childs are the shape itself, a camera and a lamp.

I'm clueless but this seems a bit weird to me, I'm trying to follow a tutorial and in the video when the guy imports the fbx that's all what he gets, no camera, lights or anything else.

Why is that I get that behavior?

    Thanks in advance!

You need to look at your export settings in Blender.
You can check "Selected Objects" to .. only export the objects you have selected. Otherwise your entire scene gets exported.
    Hope it helps.
