    hello everyone,

I have experience in 3ds max but am a beginner in Unity.
I used motion capture and the CAT system to animate a character in 3DS MAX. I exported the charactermodel along with the CAT as an FBX. i then imported it as a new asset into Unity. The "sample box" on the bottom right of the screen in the inspector --> animation window plays the animation, so i know the animation has passed over. However, when i insert the asset into the scene (and set up the camera and light) and start the game, the animation will not show. The character just stands there.

is there anything i am doing wrong? in all the tutorialvideos i've watched, simply importing and starting did the trick.

I'd be veeeery grateful for a reply you guys!
