I've unwrapped and textured multiple objects in blender but not once have I got texture in unity. It's driving me insane. I've checked multiple other posts but none seem to help. I have attached screenshots. Thanks for your help.

You need to setup the material in Unity. E.g. by dragging the texture onto the object.

I did that, there's just a cross that appears and it doesn't let me apply it.

You have to apply the texture to the material that is applied to the mesh.

Are you doing that in the scene view?

@freerun, could you post the model here? Or another test model that you have setup identically would be sufficient as well.

@Fab4 I think I have tried that, but I'll check
@Dantus Sure, I'll post it in a while, don't have access to my computer right now.

Take png file that you uv mapped onto and put it in a folder called textures in unity and drag that texture aka png file onto the material in the material folder next to the .blend file. Once you get that material all setup the textures should be on your model.

I created a new material, added the texture and dragged it onto the object, everything works good now :D . Thanks everyone!
