Imported Meshes with Substance Material pink

    Hi all!

    We have an issue with our Substance .sbsar files and their corresponding Materials. To be more precise, when our environment artist pushes a new Mesh with a Material generated from a .sbsar file, anyone importing said Mesh and Material will find the Mesh to be displayed in pink.

    Now, the strange thing about this is that the Mesh does have the Material assigned in the import settings but is still displayed in pink (see screenshot 1) as if the Shader had an error or it hadn't really assigned the correct Material after all. The Material itself looks fine and reimporting the Mesh fixes the issue (see screenshot 2) without changing anything about the file according to our VCS. So my guess is that something goes wrong during the import of Mesh and Material.

    Since we are using Unity Cloud Build, our builds tend to be very pink whenever something new is added to them and also this is just a very inconvenient issue in general that we haven't been able to find a permanent solution for yet.

    The issue does not occur with regular Materials.

    I'd be most grateful for any hints. Thanks in advance!

    We are using Unity 2020.3.1f1 with the Substance Plugin 2.6.0b and URP 10.3.2.
