Imported fbx animation not working properly

    Hello,
    I'm a beginner in Unity and I'm having some trouble making my animation work. I made my character model in Maya, animated it there and imported everything to Unity in fbx, but it doesn't seem to work when I play it. Even after applying a controller and an avatar, my character keeps its T pose.

    I can also see the animation preview working perfectly fine and my animations clips can be seen in the animator window.

    ps. I'm not using any scripts for my character, just playing with animation for now.

    I'm sure it's something silly, but I'm trying to fix it for days now.

    What else could I try?

    It looks like your pirate2.fbx has a problem. Make sure it's correctly rigged and exported.

    Your animation files seem to be fine though. If you drag and drop one of the animation fbx to the scene you should be able to animate it with animator
