Import Alembic to Unity

Hello everyone
I tried to import abc file by using alembicForUnity.
Abc file should be treat as prefab when imported.
But mine looks like just a file as attached picture shows.

I made abc file from 3ds max project.
I have to use abc to import animation to Unity, because fbx does not support a kind of animation I use.

Any idea or advise?

Hi, I had been in the same situation as you. Here is the solution:

Download 2017.3.1 version (in fact you would see that the download version is 2017.3.1f1) HERE:

https://unity3d.com/es/get-unity/download/archive

-the default version selected is the current year, example 2018. but you have to select 2017.x and there you will see all 2017s versions. Select 2017.3.1
