I'm getting this error after adding the ImageEffects standard assets to my mostly empty project. I haven't gotten to using any of it yet, simply add it. Unity 5 Pro on iMac 5K.

Assets/Editor/ImageEffects/BloomAndFlaresEditor.cs(80,64): error CS1061: Type `Camera' does not contain a definition for `hdr' and no extension method `hdr' of type `Camera' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

    Sorry. Noob. ;)

Are you sure you're using the correct version of the standard assets? There most definitely is a hdr field on the Camera class, did you perhaps create a custom script in your project that you named Camera?

I know this is kinda old, but as steego suggested, just look in your assets for "camera". I had the same error, and after looking steego's reply, I found out that an asset I downloaded (allosaurus to be more precise) had a script called camera. After deleting that one, the error was gone.

OMG thank you so much. You saved my sanity! Indeed some newly imported asset had a script named Camera.cs :)
