Lens wetness will simulate water drops over the camera lens. It consists of a customizable particle effect, an optimized "GrabPass" method and a custom image postprocessing for closeup defocus. Requires Unity 4.5 Pro or Unity 5 free

You have a lot of image effects that could be used together, it seems. Would there be any processing optimization advantage if you were to combine all of the possibilities for the group (fog, droplets, lights, dirt, bloom) into one image effects bundle?

Also, the above post needs a link to the asset in the store. :)

Oh, I forgot that, hehe, FAIL! xD
Yes, you are totally right. There are redundant stuff over and over (downsampling, blurs...)

    Hi there!

I wonder if it's possible to make this happen on Unity Free? :)
At least the simulation of the water drops on camera, is it only a post-processing effect?

I think the water drops will work on the free version. The defocus effect wont since it reads the depth buffer.

I just need the water effects so I'll definitely try them out!

Awesome! But when i build the project in Unity 5, the shader compiler crashes. Any tip for the fix?

Another great looking asset David. Quick question - is it possible to add a colour tint to the wetness effect? It looks like the effect currently assumes the wetness is clear water. It would be useful to be able to tint the colour slightly to imply liquids other than plain water. Is that possible at all?

Oh, great idea. Yes, that's easily possible.
    Thank you!

After trying it last night I noticed I got quite a high performance hit with this running. Which settings can I change on the asset to improve performance the most?

the Sun Shafts image effect also reacts with the wetness in an undesirable way. It creates shafts of light like other objects in the scene which looks odd. Is there anyway to prevent the Sun Shafts image effect from interacting with the wetness?

Also, asset this looks surprisingly good in VR. It renders correctly, however it is quite obvious in VR that the wetness effect is quite some distance away from the camera when in VR.
