hello, I am completely new to unity. And I was watching a tutorial on this
and every thing was fine until I tried to open the script, and unlike in the video It didn't open what he opened and instead prompted me the image. when I tried opening unity or the unity hub it wouldn't do anything. Since I am new I have no idea if this is supposed to happen or if I am missing something. if you need more information I will try to provide it.

Looks like you don't have a code editor installed. You could edit your script using a plain text editor, but it will not be fun. I recommend downloading Visual Studio Code: https://code.visualstudio.com/download
Once you install it, open your script with Visual Studio Code. Visual Studio Code should prompt you to download the C# module, and then you are good to go.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask, and good luck on your Unity journey!

Yeah you need VS Code, and link it to Unity.

I'm sure the Mods won't thank me for mentioning a "rival" engine, but this is where Godot Game Engine shines IMO, the code editor's built in, you don't have to download it separately.
