il2cpp.exe did not run properly

    This looks like the original error you posted. I think you need to run Unity as administrator to work around this issue.

    @JoshPeterson , when i run unity as administrator, this error goes and the other two (_share and opensettingsIOS) appear again.. i am going mad

    Yes, you need to run as administrator in order to get il2cpp.exe to run at all. I'm not sure why this is the case, but something about the way Unity is installed on your machine or the local permission settings require this.

    Once il2cpp.exe can run, then we see the second error. To correct that, you need to follow the instructions from my original post about that error.

    @JoshPeterson , i comented out the two errors (_share and opensettingsios), i had an error about the gradle that couldnt let me make a build. in build settings, i switched the build system from gradle to internal and now i can make a build.. but after the installation my app doesnt run. it crashes immidiately without even opening. in logcat in cmd i can not detect any activity.

    The key error message here is

    error: undefined reference to 'GADURelease'

    This error means that there is an extern method named GADURelease in the C# code in the project. That method must have a native implementation for Android, but the native static library cannot be found. Usually the solution is to avoid compiling this extern method (and the others like it) on Android using platform dependent compilation: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/PlatformDependentCompilation.html

    I'm not too familiar with the Android build systems, so I'm not sure that I can help with this issue. I'd recommend adding some logging early in the code for your project - does any of that code get executed? Also, you may want to try building a simple hello, world project to see if there is a more general problem.

    Hello!

    I was reading if some of your answers could helped me with my problem but actually I've tried everything and I still have the same problem building with il2cpp but with Mono works perfectly.

    Would you mind look at this error please ? It says at the end like it doesn't find some files but there actually there so... I don't know, also the version of the NDK I downloaded it from unity so I'm not sure if that's the problem

    It looks like the IL2CPP build cache is corrupt. You may want to try to delete the contents of the C:/Users/Gabriela Pardo/Documents/Unity Gabs/Deutsch AR Pr?positionen/Library/il2cpp_android_arm64-v8a/il2cpp_cache directory and build again.

    This is a problem with the Google Ads plugin for Unity. The GADUCreateRequest is defined as an extern method, which means it must appear in a native library in the build for IL2CPP. I think that you need to use #if statements in the C# code to ensure that this function is not compiled for Android. See https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/PlatformDependentCompilation.html for details.

    I'm not sure why the editor says the build succeeded - that is incorrect. Do those files which the error claims do not exist actually exist on disk? I wonder if there is some permissions issue with that directory.

    This looks like some issue with the Unity installation on this computer. Could you make sure that Unity is not installed with an administrator account?

    I don't know if it can help, but with Unity 2019.2.14f1 I had the same issue, Error on running il2cpp.exe, and I resolved (for Windows) coping the content of the folder:
    C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2019.2.14f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\NDK\android-ndk-r16b
    in folder:
    C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2019.2.14f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\NDK\

    After that, I had another problem: Error with license for android sdk 29 and buid tools 29.0.2. I resolved this second error by setting in Preferences... -> External Tool my android sdk installed with Android Studio.

    I think something is wrong with SDK and NDK released with the latest versions of Unity.

    Does the file at C:/Users/harun/Desktop/Unity Oyun Yap?mlar?/Zoftig/Library/il2cpp_android_armeabi-v7a/il2cpp_cache/53BABC111EB007D5AF78DBE0D0854F31.o actually exist? If so, the Android NDK tools might be failing due to the non-ASCII characters in the path to that file. Could you try moving the Unity project to a different location on the disk?

    thanks you, same issue resolved with Unity 2019.2.14f1.
    i move content of the folder android-ndk-r16b to NDK and don't get another problem.

    This is the key part of the error message: The requested operation requires elevation.

    This usually means there is some permissions issue with the Unity installation on this computer. Do you have another computer available to try? You could also try to re-install Unity - make sure to install it as the same user who will run it.

    Thanks! This looks like a Windows permissions issue. Can you make sure that Unity is installed with the same user account that is running it? Also, what version of Windows are you using?

    I had to uninstall unity and install again. It was working good before. I have windows 10 and I already have only one account for unity so its same as before.

    I also watched a video which suggests to check "run as administrator" il2cpp.exe so i checked box of it. But it's still gives error. Thank you

    I'm not sure what causes this issue. In general, it is not a good idea to run Unity (or any application) as an administrator. Maybe you could try that just to test things.

    In the linked video, the user seems to be running Windows 7, not Windows 10, so maybe the situation is different.

    That does look completely incorrect. You could try to download the NDK manually.

    It looks like this is the relevant part of the error message:

    Hi please help, I recovered my pc and install win10 again. I also install Unity 2019.2.15f1 and add my project again. My game works without any errors but I get alot of errors when i try to build it for Android platform.

    Did you try to reinstall the Android NDK manually, as mentioned above (https://forum.unity.com/threads/il2cpp-exe-did-not-run-properly.686434/page-2#post-5267757)?

    Specifically, look at the "Using an alternate Java Development Kit, Android SDK, or NDK" section on that page. You might want to try installing the Android NDK with a shorter path - we've had reports of that working for others with similar errors. It might be the case that the default path used when the Hub is too long in this case.

    It says "No such file or directory" so i went to this location and see there are not any file named "libatomic.a"

    Can you check the screenshot that i shared. Can you help me cause i can't move on...
