If Bought Mixamo animations, can Apply to DAZ fbx characters?

    The characters i bring into Unity are DAZ characters as FBX files.
    I bought Mixamo run /walk animation package cause i thought they should be able to work with my characters.

    Can i make them work?
    There's a video out there where you can change the animations to work with DAZ characters

    but i'm not sure how... Because the animation package i bought is imported into my Unity project. Do i have to upload the animations to their Mixamo website?

    Do the characters you are bringing in from DAZ have a mecanim compatible rig? I don't know if DAZ offers a rigging solution setup that works with humanoid.
    Either way - your DAZ character needs to be rigged and compatible with mecanim humanoid to retarget the animations onto your character.

    You can import any Mixamo animations into Unity as "humanoid" and they will work on any other humanoid characters.

    That video that you linked from our Workflows page is a little old, but we have a new tutorial for Mixamo + DAZ here:

    The important thing is:
    - Import your DAZ character to Unity as humanoid.
    - Import your Mixamo animations as humanoid.
    - They will work together! ;D
