IDFA problem on ios/iphone x / Admob & Unity Ads Test Decice

hello,
i am trying to setup teat devices for admob and unity ads.

Therefor i need the IDFA number of my iphone c device.

i always gad „personalized advertising“ disabled in the iphone privacy setting before. not i gave enabled all ad trackings in the settings. and downloaded a few ios apps that can show me my IDFA number.

the problem is that i am not getting any idfa number. The apps say my number is: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

What might be the reason i am not getting a regular number? might it be the case that there is a delay and the number will show up later?

You should read admob documentation:
https://developers.google.com/admob/unity/test-ads

You need to make an ad request using admob test ad units, and then in xcode logcat you will see your device identifier.

After that you can use your own ad units and add the test device id for making the load ad requests.

I thought that also this might not be working because ios14 and apple not showing IDFA anymore.

I tested this app and is requesting permission and then showing the correct IDFA of my phone:

Or else you can still add the test device id in code as shown in the admob instructions.

i tried this app. and also some other idfa apps. but for me it is only showing zeros. also i can not reset idfa in the iphone advertiser settings. dont know why (

 

Check the options in:
- Settings -> Privacy -> Tracking
- Settings -> Privacy -> Apple Advertising

Maybe one of those is disabled? That's the only explanation as why you're IDFA is showing as 0000.

both settings you mentioned are enabled on my device

 

Bumping for same issue - covered all of the above and even seeing "Ad tracking is limited" on some other IDFA look up apps.

Admob ads are showing up fine in the Unity editor and the functions are still working on the device build but the test ads are not showing.

 

Same problem here.
