    Hey everyone,

For those of you who have a love / hate with C++ like myself. There was a talk by Johnathan blow about a new programming language made specifically for games.

It is worth the watch. That said - He is not trying to sell you something nor is this any sort of announcement.

I personally think that we (Game and engine Devs) need to adapt in order to survive an ever changing market with ever changing needs.

    Very interesting talk,

    - HeadClot

I watched about 6 minutes of it but tend to agree with hippocoder. New languages, including those developed primarily (if not specifically) for games development have been coming out for the past 3 decades.

To get an idea of just how many you can check out resources such as
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programming_languages

I always enjoyed C++ and C# seems very much the same except it obviously has some things that are handy such as built-in lists, LINQ and such.

I'd find the video more interesting if it was talking about game design or showing people how to more effectively use C# (something a lot of new programmers could use), etc.
