great vid! i'd like to know if you get to export some apk files to the hmd. I'm having some problems with the Google USB driver.

    Just received mine...
    Looks awesome.
I hope porting all my VR apps to idealens will be straight forward.

I just ported "VR Earth Attack" over to the Idealens K2 yesterday, it took me a few minutes to get the USB driver working on Windows 8.1 too - this is how I did it:

    Unplug and turn on headset.
    Go into the Options screen.
Tap on the blue dot to expand the bar.
    Go into the Developer screen.
Set both options to orange "turn on".
Press and hold the Home button for three seconds.
Swipe to highlight Power Off then tap.
Wait a few moments... then hold the Home button to power up again.
Open Device Manager on your Windows PC.
Connect the USB cable to the headset and to the PC.
Wait until the autodetection has "completed".
Right-click on the "IDEALENS" device and select "Properties".
Click "Update Driver" button (in the "Driver" tab).
Click "Browse my computer for driver software".
Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".
Scroll down the "Manufacturer" list and select "Google".
Select the "Android ADB Interface" in the "Model" list.
Proceed with the installation when warned it may not be compatible.
Unity's "Build and Run" feature will now deploy directly to the headset.

thanks you very much, it's working now. I though orange position in developer options was off, my mistake.

Hello, this is a good headset, and the sdk is pretty good,
On my side i ported VR Bowl in a few hours, it will be harder for SpaceXHunter, but not impossible :)

if you want to exchange .apk files of your games in order to see how other games react on the headset, this is ok for me

Hi, this headset looks really interesting, could you please talk a bit about it? How well does it perform? Display quality and refresh rate? Overall system latency?

Hi lugduweb, how did the porting to Idealens go for you? Was it fairly straightforward? I just received a dev kit and there's not much info - although WEARVR provide some instructions. I'll be digging into those today, did you find any other sources of information? Cheers, Nick P
