Question Ideal tick rate

    The documentation recommends setting the tick rate to the physics update rate (so 50 times per second, standard). However, this means that even without lag messages take 40ms to travel to the server and back, which can be a bit long. Isn't any multiple of the physics rate fine as well? E.g. if I set the tick rate to 100 will that mess anything up, or work just fine? Or is this wasteful/will it not actually lead to any improvement in perceived lag?
