    HI,

I've been googling and searching forums for a recent and definitive answer to this question:

Do/can you earn income by releasing a free App to the iOS store (for iphone and ipad) that has IAPs which you can earn money from? Or do you need a Chinese publisher to go to the iOS App Store as well (as you do for Android?)

    Many thanks

Yes, again that's an Android release. We're looking for Apple only

Have you released in the China store yet from XCode, without IAP?

I did a while back and had a lot of downloads - was a free app and didn't have any IAP nor Ads in it. Someone has informed me that iAPs and Ads do get paid from Chinese apple store. I hope this is true as I'm planning on re-releasing this free app with ads and iAPs in it. Can't work for nothing ;)

Great! Please keep us posted. Your first step would be to create an IAP product list on their store page, if you are able to locate it.

Unity IAP works on the Chinese Apple App Store, but not on Google Play unless the user uses a VPN and has Google services installed.
