Keep close eye on announcements and new like blog posts etc.
And react respectively.

You wont get any more insight, than what is available already in public medias.

Yes, more or less.
Blog posts can post promises. Blog posts and announcements are better now because they describe progress rather than urging news about upcoming features (which take years or decades to stabilize, for example, multiplayer).

I don't want interiorities more than to use the engine every day. Therefore, it is better (to test the actual progress) to use it and react respectively.
