Bug I need help importing a git package

    when I try to import a git package I get these errors:

    [Package Manager Window] Error adding package: https://github.com/heathen-engineer...on.git?path=/com.heathen.steamworksfoundation.
    UnityEditor.EditorApplication:Internal_CallUpdateFunctions ()

    [Package Manager Window] Cannot perform upm operation: Unable to add package [https://github.com/heathen-engineer...on.git?path=/com.heathen.steamworksfoundation]:
    Error when executing git command. fatal: not in a git directory
    [NotFound].

    could you please help me ive been trying to fix it all day yesterday.
