I made a quick tutorial and example project on how to create realtime floor reflections in Unity 5

    I came across this video:


    Which looked pretty amazing and I honestly thought it wasn't Unity solely because of the realtime floor reflections. Or at least that he was using some plugin for screen space reflections or similar. But in the description he states he's only using standard Unity 5. So I tried for a bit to see how I could achieve the same effect and I think I managed to do it the same way he must have done it.

    I tried for a bit to achieve wall reflections as well, but that's a lot harder than floor reflections. I'm pretty sure it can be done. Or even that you can have multiple reflective surfaces in the same scene, but it would require a lot more scripting and this is a very hacky approach to begin with. Using screen space reflection is probably a lot smarter. :p

    But I see this as a quick and easy way to add that extra something to an architectural visualization or similar where optimization isn't that important and you usually just have 1 floor surface.
